I went to one of my favorite places to eat just down the hill. Yes, I tend to eat at the same places but think about it. One place has great steaks, another one the best hamburgers and another wonderful and perfect chicken tenders with corn on cob. Do you go and eat at places where you like certain foods? I also take one day every other month to eat someplace different. Maybe a place I saw while out taking photographs or maybe one I saw advertised.
Do you do the same thing every Holiday Season? How about adding in a little change?? I got this from my waiter at my favorite food place this morning and decided to share with you.
What does it take to change the essence of man?
Have we forgotten what this time of the year is about?
Christmas is a time for giving, not so much that you put yourself in hardship because of the giving but that you remember why we should give.
You should give to your enemy – Forgiveness.
To the ignorant – Tolerance.
To your friend – Your Heart.
To all men – Charity.
To every child – A good example.
And to yourself – Respect.
This Holiday Season, mend a quarrel. Seek out a forgotten friend. Dismiss suspicion and replace it with trust. Write a letter. Give a soft answer. Encourage youth. Keep a promise. Forgo a grudge. Try to understand. Examine your demands on others. Laugh a little more. Take pleasure in the beauty and wonder of this world.
